If you go to the Rally Point tab and choose “West” from the drop down list...the Inland Empire meetup info and location will be top of the list.

alright, so I know next weekend is the meetup. But tomorrow 3-10-18 ill be running the Cleghorn trail to Silverwood. if anyone cares to make the run with me, is more than welcome. Hello Everyone, Hope everyone is having a great month. March 17, meet up is a run. We will be heading to Afton Canyon.
We will be meeting at HWY 15 and 138 at 7:30am leaving 8am.

Afton Canyon's surface water makes it unique in the southern California desert. Known locally as "The Grand Canyon of the Mojave" for its dramatic geological formations, this is the only place where the Mojave River flows above ground year-round - providing significant riparian (riverbank) wildlife habitat amid the desert. Since prehistoric times, the natural bounty created by this water source has made Afton Canyon a focus for living things. Dense willows and cottonwoods shaded the river, and thickets of mesquite produced bean pods for food. The ponds, marshes and streams provided habitat for a wide variety of wildlife species.

Dom included a link for a map showing Afton Canyon. Take a look at it; there are a couple ways to exit the area. You can turn around, or take Basin Rd. up to the I-15, or we can go all the way to ZZYZX Rd.
Should be a fun day.
