In Review Member Location on Website Map

I've noticed that my location and the locations of some members I know are no longer on the website map, whilst other members' locations are shown.
Is there something that needs to be enabled on my profile or other place?

I've run into this before on my own account. Double-check the location setting in your account details and make sure the address is saved in the right format, then give the map a few minutes to refresh. If the pin still doesn't show, the support team here is usually quick to look into map issues. Hope this helps!

Hi Randall! Thank you for being a long time member!

1. If you click on your avatar in the header of the forums on desktop, you'll trigger a drop down menu.
2. Select 'Privacy' from this menu.
3. At the bottom of the privacy settings select 'Yes' for 'Mark my position on the map'. This will randomly place you within 5 miles of the location you designated in your profile.
4. It may take up to 24 hours for your randomized location to appear while the system syncs.
