Going to make my best effort to make it to my first rally point ! How bad are the roads?my fj80 is pretty much stock with new bfg 33s.it would be my first time trying out the 4x4.just did a bunch of repairs .any info would be greatly appreciated

There's one water crossing with good traction, some sand. Ive been through there a few times with my FJ80 and have no problems.
If not for the sand, it would be a nice 2wd run.

This April 7th the Annual Chili cook off at Joshua Inn Bar 6224 Arrowhead Lake Rd Hesperia Ca - Starts around 12:00 great chili and cold bear and and penalty of 4 wheeling in the surrounding area . Check out there facebook page. If anyone wants to head up it's good times. Chili sampling from 2:00 - 4:00 winners announced at 4:30 also live music

Hello Everyone, This months meetup is going to be a meet and greet. I know a few guys are preparing for Overland Expo West trip.
Last months, water crossing at Afton Canyon, put "Baloo" in the shop for a couple days, we broke the fan clutch yet all is well. We had three rigs on the trail and we had a great time going through the canyon and testing our water crossing skills.
