What is your go too overlanding photography kit/setup? What is in your Camera bag?

Agree 100 percent. Cameras on phones are toys. I am on a couple of forums where people recommend phones for point and shoots. NOPE. Zoom in even 10 percent from the original shot and it looks like a crappy paint by number. My x10 destroys ANY phone in image quality. A real point and shoot...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I has come to my attention that the sqeaking in the rear of the pat could be the springs in the perches. To combat this, I am taking out the rear springs, putting a bead of urethane around them, spreading it out and letting it dry. Then re installing the springs. Should stop any squeaks that...

Need some real world suggestions on lighting options.

I think you are getting whats going to come from a cheaper light bar. Rigid, vision X and Baja Designs are really the only LED lights I would even use. The rest just don't have the punch.

What mileage did you purchase your rig?

Damn, you need to start driving. Ha ha ha! Sorry, had to. Bought our 2015 patriot with 11 km on the clock and it now has 112k on it. We are not moving as much as we would like, but that's changing now.

    “Work from home” solutions

Well, a new opportunity fell into my lap today. I previously owned a mold remediation and inspection business and a new firm is looking for a content creator for their website etc. I am starting to write for them this week! I cannot wait. I may be getting their business to open a location...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Awesome you are getting it rebuilt, but I am so so glad I have unloaded my pentastar. After reading how many issues they have, in many different vehicles, if I kept my jk I was going to swap in an LS or Coyote into it.

@Flamewave I read on your JP.com thread your rear springs were squeaking? did you find out why? was it a high pitched sqeak? I would reply there, but they don't like me because I called out rossoracer for his bull. ha ha.

    Jeep Owners Represent!

At this point, we are keeping only because it's cheaper than unloading it. I traded my crappy Harley davidson CVO on it. There is about 7k worth of harley crap payments on the jeep. I am actually smitten with the new Ford Maverick. I am seriously thinking of going with one of those. AWD FX4...

Film photography - post your pics

I took my T50 out this morning. I want to burn through my film I have on hand now to see what I get from it. Been so long since it's been used. I am actively looking at other FD lenses for it. I only have the 50 F1.4 atm.

    Jeep Owners Represent!

isn't that the truth, even patriots. Ours is acting up again. The TB is failing, so I am getting performance issues, the rear suspension needs a full rebuild with control arms, etc, needs brakes (lots of km on them though), needs spark plugs and air filter again, I think a couple of side axle...

    “Work from home” solutions

We have alot of people moving back and forth from other provinces, I think I could make a decent living just taking personal items to different places. Not commerical jobs. Just personal. Drop trailer off, tell them I will be back the next morning to get it, drive to where they are heading...

    Making Money with Overland Photography

Me too. I am using two cameras. A fujifilm x10 and X-S1. Both 12 mp both take amazing photos. As I mentioned many times before, you don't put your nose on a photograph. You look at it from a distance so MP is no big deal. My friend used to sell photos and the best selling photo was from a...

    “Work from home” solutions

I have been thinking about this too. Get a 2wd dually 4 door and a couple of different sized trailers. Toss the fam in the truck, and visit some cool places while getting paid.
