Problem with airtags they need to be near an apple device in order for them to send a signal to you. No good in the woods, or areas where no one has anything apple. FI collars are a true gps transmitter. I thought about a tile on Mekia's collar as well before and same thing, they need to be...
Love the pat! ha ha. Did you run spacers with the TJ wheels? Did they give you more offset to run larger tires? I always wondered about people doing that.
Thanks. I love them too. This is our second one as well. My first was a 2010 fd2 package limited with every option. I would have kept it but the cvt was horrid. Update will be coming soon with the new build.
Well,
I was all set to start building the Jk Unlimited for our travel rig, but life gets in the way sometimes. I let "annie" go to a new owner last week. While it hurt letting my second JK leave the driveway, It opened a new era for the Autism Family Travels family. We are now free of the...
I know a guy on here with a rav4 who purchased springs using lengths and spring rates to give him some lift. Maybe an idea on that front. Search for the SVO...small vehicle overlanding thread and there is some info in there. I may do the same for the patriot.
Also, there is a company called...
I mentioned my lightweight kit before, but I have to add my iPhone 11 to the mix. The ultra wide angle lens is FUN! I am amazed at the images from it. I was going to move to a note for work, but I cannot since I will lose my awesome camera. Damn apple.
Well we are now exclusively back in the SVO world. We sold our JKU again, and the pat will be our overlanding rig now. I am going to be getting at er soon. Can't wait to FINALLY get it built like I have the vision in my head. Wheels tires and stance are complete. Well, need new tires again...
Got any before and afters of the wheel spacers. That's one thing I did not like about the compass redesign. Its wheels were way inside the body lines. We have 1.25" on the Pat and it looks and works great. Nice trailhawk btw.
I sold it. I need a way more fuel efficient vehcile for work so Annie the Anvil Jeep had to go. Our main rig now is our patriot. I will be getting a new 2021 hyundai elantra N line for work. Not terrible, it's fast, comfortable, reliable, inexpensive and pretty cool looking.
We are moving to Nova Scotia this summer. Are there any nice trails around Halifax to get out in the backcountry? We will be in our Lifted Jeep Patriot so no rock crawling or deep mud. Just looking for good routes to have some fun and get out into the fresh air.
If you are hard on crap you can break anything. 37's on stock jeep axles are fine if you are aware and not a hammerhead. I would run 37's on my dana 30 and not think tiwce.
Costway make nice fridges. I think our Unique from costco is a rebranded costway. Check this one out. Remember that price is CDN so american dollars it seems like a good deal.
