Due to severe weather the camping trip this weekend (14-15) at cypress creek has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

Cool idea. Im in Birmingham, AL. a quick pic from a Georgia Traverse trip me and my buddy in his LX made coming back from Overland Expo East last Oct.
Nice rigs bro. I'm really wanting to get up to Alabama to do some riding. I need to do some upgrading to the rig though before i do anything too serious.

After I get my lift installed and some actual off road tires slapped on my JGC, I'll definitely be hitting y'all up for some of these close by trips. It doesn't look like there's anything too technical in the Desoto forest, so that's perfect for me. I think I've launched my kayak from cypress creek landing for my 4 day paddle trip if I'm not mistaken. They've got some decent camp grounds over there

Yeah we haven’t found anything too crazy. But we have a good time camping out and riding. Things have been kind of busy for me lately ( moving into a new house) that it’s been difficult to get out on the trails. I’ll post when I go next and if you plan something let us know we will try to make it out there!
