Chains when I need them. They're easier to spread out and dry, usable fore more than one season, and don't shred and splinter doing damage to your rig and your body. Honestly, I think they're easier to put on, also. Also, I'm not sure I would ever try to use cables in the mud.

I had a '08 Grand Cherokee (HEM), it was fantastic for everything except internal cargo space, and an average MPG of between 13 and 15 on the interstate (I drive a lot for work). I ended up with 2. My '14 KL Trailhawk that gets me 27/28ish MPG on the interstate, and pretends to be a Cadillac...

That's the part of the trip I find most exciting. Looking at the packed up rig, ready to get on the road!

It depends on what part of the trip, and who's with me. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been any style that hasn't been played at some point or another.

I think it's mostly in threads that were created in the old forum software. But I'm not 100% sure on that one.

I keep seeing this image that says "You bought steps instead of sliders. That's none of my business though." They all have the img link of "http://overlandbound.com/forums/data/uploads/image.jpg" I'm not sure what it's all about, I assume it's some kind of error graphic?
