How did you find the Overland Bound website?

What is this "free sticker" thing that keeps getting mentioned... I feel I've missed something important!

How did you find the Overland Bound website?

It was one of the YouTube videos. I don't remember which. I was subbed to the channel for a while before I joined up to the website. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Snow Peak Pack and Carry Fireplace Review

I would expect that those burn really well, also. When you build a fire on the ground, it's sometimes hard to get (and keep) good air flow to the underside/embers of the fire. That causes a lot more smoke than if you can keep good airflow to the fire. I've seen these around, and I've been...

    Who's in the Region?

I'm up near Tacoma. I spend a lot of time down near Portland though.

    Hand out card?

I would suggest that maybe the first one be 3 lines of text, or figure out a way to make it work by not splitting the "Overlanding is not elitist." sentense. It reads a little strange in my opinion.

GPS App's - What do you recommend?

Maprika is a good app. It works without cellular coverage. It just requires a little planning to download your maps ahead of time. And, it's free! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Suggestion: "Do It Yourself" section

I would say we probably don't need another one unless it starts to explode with content. My 2 cents Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Suggestion: "Do It Yourself" section

Lurking around the forums, like you do... I was thinking that down in the "Overland Rigs" section there should be a do it yourself section. There are a lot of really handy people around here that do some really cool stuff to their rigs. It seems like it could be a really useful tool to have...

    OREGON

I'd love to see an Oregon section. I spend a lot of time down there. I also consider Oregon and Washington one big state... Only, I can't pump my own gas in half of it...

What are you using for a fridge/freezer.

Here is one loaded, and one I took the other day after I started cleaning, testing, and re-packing... There are a few other pictures in the build thread in my sig. If you want any specifics feel free to let me know.

What are you using for a fridge/freezer.

I drew out a basic plan for what I wanted, built a base to level the floor with the bottom of the rear hatch, and then just measured everything in place. I'm not sure how long it will last, but so far it's worked spectacularly. Due to the SAR function of my build, I opted to not build in a...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Sadly, with my work schedule... The best I've been able to say is "I pulled it out and drove it to work" Damn my roof rack is loud with nothing up there.

    Off The Grid 2016?

Same thing goes on this end... If anyone wants to fly over, I have two rigs. The Chuck Wagon, and the little trail runner. I'd be happy to work something out. Though it's a trip in and of itself to get from here (Tacoma, WA) down to Northern California.
