I was going to put in the new Cummins 2.8 Repower diesel in the Santana, but came across a low mileage 300TDI with a full drivetrain for a great price. Will save me 10 to 15k over the Cummins install. Building up my axles first and then converting the Santana to 4 link custom suspension and coilovers. Body and frame have no rust coming from Spain and it's LHD. Will also be building a full rollcage/exoskeleton. Work on it starts next month.
Here is my new 2016 SCV6 that I will be converting into a full overland rig. I’ve had it 3 weeks and I have had it out off-roading every weekend since having it.
I have a question. Why doesn’t Land Rover supply an 18 inch wheel for the discovery LR since the LR2. Was their an issue?

Love everywhere the LR3 has taken us in the past 10 year. Collected lots of mods and lights over the years View attachment 79124 View attachment 79123 View attachment 79128
Sometimes plastic parts fall off View attachment 79118 View attachment 79122 , but its capability has never failed to impress me. View attachment 79126 View attachment 79121
She is expensive to run ($0.60/mile View attachment 79130 ), but worth it. My wife drives the carbon offset View attachment 79127
Cheers!
Has that the highs lift rods kit?
Both adjustable rods and IIdtool. I run stock height on the street with 275/65r18 duratracs. I Used the adj rods to zero out the EAS "calibrations" so the iidtool can go higher and lower before hitting an out-of-range eas faults. It's been a while but it think I gained almost a full inch of more lift by doing this.

Hey there - I'm out there in my 2017 Range Rover HSE... love these rigs. Had a 2015 Land Rover LR4 prior to this and my wife uses her 2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport on her construction sites.

Wow! When I started this thread 2 years ago I had now idea it would have such legs! I’ve dropped of the map for a while, Kids, work, marriage and a few shoulder surgeries (aging is awesome), but logged back in to do a little research on this little baby! She’s a rough little dirty gurl with a straight frame, strong engine and drive train. 185,000 on the odometer and tons of potential.

Have a question or two
With the rods fitted and you press access hight, does the hight drop to the base OEM hight. I live in an apartment and the parkade is 6’6” and with my slimline rack I have a half inch at normal ride hight. So I get it down to access hight to drive through.
At max hight have you grounded it to get the extended hight when pressing the normal hight setting? If so does that give you another 2 inches as normal or do you get an error because it was already at the max.
