part of my problem is every time I go to work on it I end up doing more woodworking then welding, it's just nice to be dry and warm

or maybe a second gen 4 runner , had alot of fun in that thing to . I just need to really think about it and make sure whatever I buy I keep for years , I've owned way to many rigs and need to stop buying a new rig every 6-8 months just because I've become bored with the one I habe so I sell it .

got some stuff hooked back up and drive it around a little , rear locker and both cases work .

finished up the intake tube

got the old ifs mounts ground down

and started in on priming all the exposed metal

hoping tomorrow to get the rest of the ifs mounts off frame , plate some stuff and extend the front driveline .... again and maybe get the rear spring pack all built .

extended the front driveline , shifter extended and bent ( it was hitting the dash ) cleaned up some wiring and got fluid in all the places it should be .

Looking good man! It’s must be nice to put your mind to this and the Subaru off for a bit. Wrenching and building always helps me blow off some steam.

it is nice to not need ramps to crawl up onto a trailer

tonight and tomorrow's plan
drop the body down 1.5" (can't stand how high it is )
make new body mounts
pull a leaf from the front pack
put 2 thinner leafs in the rear spring pack
hook up and wire the arb pump
cut off the rest of the ifs mounts and primer the frame .

hard to tell in the pics but body is dropped 1.25 " and moved it forward 2" amazing how much time it takes to measure everything 500000000 times to make sure everything Is lined up .... ok some of the re-measuring might be blamed on the whiskey
