More progress, slowly but surely! I replaced all the Tek screws holding the trailer skin on with capped rivets (was worried about them shaking loose off road). Also, welded in supports for the diesel tank (heater) and for the Harbor Freight Apache box that will house the water heater, got both mounted. I need to get the propane tank mounted and exterior lights figured out then I can finally start building the inside [emoji16]20181227_152257.jpegf936a7cc-05de-4dd6-ae24-83cfcbdca512_1.179dbc570caa05aca13e7ee1a6011b4e.jpeg

I'm still here! My son is a month away from being born, needless to say I have had a lot of other stuff to do [emoji16] Diesel heater is in, front wall mocked up, started insulation. First project to complete is the roof, then the walls, then the front wall will go in. I also added aluminum strut channel to the outside of the trailer, for roof rack mounting in the future.

Little more progress. Walls are in, front wall is in. The black circles on either side of the cubby are the ducts for the heater (inlet and return). The little box hanging in the middle is the thermostat. On either side of that is wiring for the light and 12v outlets. Btw, the ratcheting truck bed divider from Harbor Freight is super handy for lending an extra hand to hold stuff, lol20190419_165343.jpeg20190419_135547.jpeg

Cleaned out the trailer and stained the supports for the bed with Thompson's water seal. Too bad none of that will be seen ever again! About to be covered by plywood.

Rear side walls insulated and covered, top shelf in, hopefully tomorrow I'll get the rear bottom shelf in, and finish the trim, and primer the next day. 20190503_195937.jpeg20190503_195948.jpeg

Painting is finally done! Got all the aluminum trim installed in the back too. I ran into a snag though. I used thinner plywood on the walls to save weight, not thinking about the windows. Consequently I made the walls too thin to install them... They're the style the sandwich the wall with a clamp ring and such. A place in Vancouver WA that builds custom RV windows has a solution they think will work, so I'll go see them on Thursday to figure out that. As soon as the windows are installed I'll be getting this thing back outside and on its wheels so I can finish the plumbing underneath. 20190519_174828.jpeg
