Thanks, we're having a great time, and eating too much! Hey, since this is no longer planning, can you (or a moderator) move this to the "overland Trips Now or then" forum? Thanks
Some photos
Canaveral National Seashore
And several from Ponce Inlet Lighthouse
And I picked this up to hang at home as inspiration to "Outfit & Explore"

@scubasteve2002 Wait, this isn't ScubaSteve from clubwrx all those years ago, is it? I thinkthatwas the forum, but I remember a ScubaSteve from somewhere. I usually went by morris on the forums.
Either way, welcome!
Hi Chris, and Welcome to Overland Bound!
I lived north of you in Orange County in the '80s. What a beautiful area for exploring. It was great driving in the foothills in sporty cars and motorcycles, too!
Welcome aboard,
Steve
Raining again, and high in the 50s. I coulda stayed home and it would only be 10 degrees colder.
After the launch yesterday, we went to Merritt Island National Seashore and spent the afternoon wandering. Took a 7 mile off pavement loop, but it was just crushed shells, so not really anything...
In my MG, which is garaged and unused much of the time, I use in scented drier strips spread out inside, in the trunk, and under the hood. Othe British car guys swear by cutting up chucks of Irish Spring soap and doing the same. So far, no mice nests or chewed wires.
Nothing to post unless you want to see some junk we bought at a pottery place and a Le Creuset kitchen outlet...
So much rain today! I've never driven in it coming down that hard. The Geolander A/T-S tires never wavered.
We'll get to my brother's tomorrow, and then a rocket launch at Cape...
Mile Zero: Leaving our home in northern Ohio, and heading toward Florida for a few weeks. Follow along to see what we're up to. #overlandbound#subaruoutback#floridabound
That is curious with the fairing forward of the windscreen. You'd think wind would scoop up the windscreen and come up through the bottom of the rack, behind the fairing. I know when I put my basket on, I had it too far forward, yet still behind the windscreen, and it howled a lot. I moved it...
Heading to New Smyrna Beach, Florida, south of Daytona, and staying with my brother at his rental. We'll use that as a base to explore the area, then wander our way north in a few weeks.
Friday morning, we'll be heading Cape Canaveral to watch a rocket launch; something I've wanted to do since...
Today I topped off the fluids and checked the tire pressure on the Outback. Loaded the compressor and tool bags, and took any unnecessary stuff out. We've got a nice pile started in the living room and a checklist partially finished.
We'll be leaving for Florida on Tuesday morning.
