@dmurph1996 Wow, Murph! I thought Boozer was pampered before, but that takes the cake! :openmouth: That's a very clever setup. You might build a spare drawer to swap in to use when you need more storage.
I tied a few, but never caught anything with them. One had some of my own hair in it. That's probably a collectible now that I don't have any... :smirk:
@Hank_ I'm headed the same direction from northern Ohio in a couple of weeks. Here's what I've got so far:
Steve & Deb Drive To Florida (February 2016)
I didn't either, but I made up a fake account so that I could share my travels with friends and family. That way no one knows who I really am.
<--- That's not really me. I'm a 14 year old kid in my Mom's basement. Shhh!
Hi @Mike, and welcome to Overland Bound! You will find a congenial group of enthusiasts here, and that we are very non-brand tolerant (although there seem to be way too many T4Rs here. :smirk:)
With age, comes wisdom!
I'll respond to this question from the point of view of someone who rarely needs more than the basic upgrades to drive on 99% of the roads I would travel during my exploring. I'm far from most interesting places, so much of the travel will be on highways. While a modified Subaru is very capable...
I like forward to seeing what you've collected, @lubootgator
My all-time favorite outdoor camping guide is still Colin Fletcher's 1974 classic The Complete Walker It is more than just a backpacking book, with tips on everything from crapping in the woods to first aid, walking sticks, and a...
A few years ago, our local National Park (then a National Recreation Area) put on a winter camping clinic. Go to the three classes, and you get to hike into and camp in the park (which has no camping allowed.) It was going to be a family thing, but turned bitter cold, so Deb and daughter stayed...

Oh, that looks interesting! We'd already talked about going to Canaveral, I just forgot to list it separate from seeing a launch. Didn't know about Big Daddy's museum, which could be fun!
Thanks so much!
LOL Well, I can't help with the office thing. ;) OK, then, embrace the winter! Go sledding, or get some snowshoes or cross-country skis. Ice fishing in a nearby pond, winter hikes are wonderful and no mosquitos, winter photography can create some dramatic images.
Try your hand at winter...
Ha, how can you complain about this weather. It was in the 50s and 60s just a week or two ago. In January! For us, that's a gift!
Window shop new vehicles (something I do frequently), read a book on someone else's adventure, plan your next trip or route, study and take your HAM license test...
@administrator or one of the moderators: How about merging this thread into TreXTerra's previous and well populated "Tire Talk" discussion to make it easier to find in the future?
Thanks, Mark!
In re-reading my post, I see I didn't finish my thought. I meant to say that since it is in such great shape, I want to keep it that way so in case I happen to decide to get another vehicle here in the near future, it will still be worth a good amount when I sell it. ;)
