Tutorial on how to set a badge on display under your name/avatar

I sure can't help ya. Mine doesn't even have the above mentioned button to select the featured badge.

    Suggestion: "Do It Yourself" section

Exactly what I do, and I right-click, open in a new tab for each thread. So sometimes I don't even know what section I'm reading in. Maybe I'm putting too much thought into a simple thing. We're heading out to go window shopping at Toyota...

    Suggestion: "Do It Yourself" section

My opinion is no. This creates the fragmentation I was talking about on other forums, where people come and visit their vehicle section only and don't see what other people are doing. Or someone in Jeep makes a great thread on racks that would be more general discussion. Sure, it can be moved...

    Suggestion: "Do It Yourself" section

Remember, you asked... :smirk: I still don't understand the differentiation between the "Overland Bound Members" and Overland Bound Supporters" sub-forums. There doesn't seem a need to post general discussion in either, and both could overlap a bit if people in "Members" don't know a question...

    Suggestion: "Do It Yourself" section

You know my oft voiced thoughts on this subject; the fewer forums the better to keep the participation from fragmenting.

Grant! Welcome to Overland Bound. I think this must be about half a dozen forum/Facebook groups that you and I are both on. (smorris, exploring the USA in a Subaru, etc.) Guys, @grantwilson has built what is probably the most capable 4th/5th generation (2010+) Subaru Outback on the country, if...

    Turtleback Trailers

@stringtwelve Curious if you looked at the Backcountry Box Rocky in your initial search, and if so, your thoughts? I found a "like" from them on Instagram yesterday, and was intrigued by their Roady trailer. I'm not seriously shopping at this point, but like to gather information and opinions...

me, @Kody2591 That sounds like quite the build you are planning. Im d'finitely interested in watching the progress, and how you decide what to create.

    Tire Deflators

Indeed, but I also like the flexibility of the portable unit. And I think the Jeep probably has tons of working space compared to the under hood area of my Outback!

    Rigs parking next to rigs

I'd never buy a new one, although I like the 2016 refresh. I think a low mileage 2013 200 would make a superb replacement for the Outback! Until yesterday, there was one 30 miles from my destination in Florida for $30k less than a new one.

    Suggestion: "Do It Yourself" section

@jdunk In the Overland Gear section, there is a Do It Yourself section, where people have started threads on gear and rigs. That might work for what you are suggestion, as a lot of "gear" is stuff on the rig. Overland Do It Yourself Projects

    Tire Deflators

If you are going to spend $200 on the Viair 400P, consider spending $56 more for the Viair 450P kit. It has a lower flow rate, but is 100% duty cycle vs. the 33% on the 400P. The trade off in fill time vs waiting to cool might be very similar. I went the 450P route, strictly for the duty cycle...

Anyone else from the Great White North (Canada)?

Welcome aboard, @GammaVenture You are in a part of the world that I want to visit one of these days soon, as it is a reasonable distance from us here in northern Ohio. I think the next time we come to Maine, we'll just keep going! I'm glad you've found us, and look forward to your adventures...

    Small LED Rack Lights Suggestions

Hey @administrator and people not using Safari, @stringtwelve has been using the MEDIA tag to link to Amazon on a few posts. Those links do not show up on my end using Safari on a Mac desktop or on Safari on an iPad. Are these links visible to others on other platforms? If I quote String, I...

    Air Rifles

You can't imagine all the stuff I've collected over the years. I don't have a clue how my wife has put up with me for nearly 35 years.

    Air Rifles

I bought an Oregon Arms Chipmunk .22 LR single shot when my eldest daughter was small. First, the quality was pretty bad, so it misfired a lot, which frustrated her (and me.) But more importantly, she outgrew it pretty quickly, so it sat for nine years until the second daughter used it for a...

    Air Rifles

One thing I like about the pump pellet guns vs CO2 for kids, is the strength required to pump it. When first starting out, they most likely can't pump it up to fire, so no messing about with it. By the time they are old enough, or have a lot of father/kid practice under their belt, then they...

    Air Rifles

I have a 5mm (.20 caliber) Sheridan Blue Streak from 1961. It is still sold as the Benjamin 392 (.22 cal) and 397 (.177 cal) for around $150. Here's an Amazon link: http://amzn.to/1lY4qWJ You vary the pressure by how many times you pump. Ten pumps is about maximum. Here's mine I also have a...

Welcome aboard, Ryan! Here in northern Ohio we are a lot like what you describe, with nothing resembling the awesome photos other members show on here. Nothing but pavement for hours in any direction.
