Excellent ride-along! Thank you. What a wonderful trip.
Add some maps and GPS info, and maybe @administrator can add it to the downladable Overland Bound Routes.
That sounds fantastic! We were out that way for 43 days last fall, but didn't get to nearly all the places we want to see. (See our trip log in the trips forum)
Where is Deer Creek? that looks beautiful, and somewhere I'd like to find on our next trip. With our daughter in college in Seattle...
I was looking for the photo I took of the "Steve & Deb" heart on the beach in Key West in 1978, but couldn't find them. But I did find some old camp photos.
This was on a trip my little brother and I took to eastern Tennessee in 1976. 1969 FIAT 124 wagon, and an old no-name canvas tent that...
@jordanbrooks We picked up a big basket of mail from the post office today. There was the Overland Indiana sticker, just like you said it would be! It looks great, and I'll post a photo when I stick it on.
Thanks!
Steve
Catching up, copying earliest posts from Instagram first:
World of Coke, in downtown Atlanta, Georgia
The signs for miles around say "See Rock City" but today it is closed over and drizzling, so we'll go in another trip. We did visit the Chickamauga National Military Park, though...

I wish I hadn't cheaped out, and stayed out near the end of the Keys instead of driving back to Florida City (south edge of Homestead) last night. We spent time walking around town and down Duval Street and ate and drank a bit. I would have liked to stay longer and taken more time exploring...
Some more catching up.
This is our lunch while on Islamorada in the Florida Keys. I think we're gonna need a doggie bag!
Our obligatory Southernmost Point in the continental USA photo.
@NorthStar96 And contrary to what I'd said earlier, we obviously ended up going south. Stayed in...
The photo doesn't do justice to the amount of mud on the Outback, but I thought I'd better get a picture before it rains.
Outfit & Explore! @administrator
Great idea. I was just at Ocala National Forest a couple of days ago, and had a blast. If there were other vehicles around, I'd have tried some of the deeper water crossings! Too bad I'll be 1,000 miles north of there when you end up going.
