Bump.
So now I'm really annoyed with this program. Not only does it consistently fail to save any waypoints on the route I'm creating, but it also decided, of its own accord, to omit all the backroad driving I added to the route and snap to the main highway, thusly making it totally useless for...
Good points. Breakover or rampover angle is pretty important too, to avoid getting high centered on obstacles.
Found this:
Doesn't show the breakover angle, unfortunately, but gives your approach, departure and minimum ground clearance.
Added tool hooks and straps to hold my shovel or my axe. Haven't fully decided which I will put in there, since neither fits perfectly lol. You wonder about the potty...I have 5 kids ranging from 8 years old to newborn, so let's call it insurance for when the kids come wheeling with me lol.
That sucks. I've heard these had water problems. If you bought it recently, fight the dealership to get compensation and then buy one of these, because dang these are so sexy:

Hello,
Just started with Gaia GPS free version. I was trying to save a route I created, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be saving the waypoints I'm entering. They show up on the left side toolbar (windows browser version) but once I save and re-load the route, there are only two...
Love your setup. I would recommend trying a longer CB antenna - you'll probably get much better performance, as not much of your antenna is above your roof, which reduces your ground plane effectiveness.
Finally finished the wheels. Settled on 2 coats each for economy and time constraint reasons. I honestly did quite a rush job, and I think they look pretty awesome despite my cutting certain corners.
Had a bit of a scary moment qhen the crappy scissor jack decided to tip over while I was trying...
Very nice. The more I see shots of the 80 series land cruiser, the more I feel sure that Honda drew a lot of inspiration for the RD1 CR-V styling from it.
Paint Odyssey continues...I hope to be finished tomorrow. Side note, I pulled the drums while I had the back jacked up on blocks, and the shoes seem to be okay, so that's good. I'll confirm with some research.
Thanks for the detailed run down! This is an excellent write up. I'd say you've made up my mind - going to shell out the extra bucks and get a milspec one from princess auto.
Finally got started on painting the road wheels (did the spare a while back). I started in my drive way since it was a nice day, but I moved it into the garage to let my wife have her driveway back for parking the van lol. No, don't worry, my 2 year old didn't fall down. She was being my helper...

I would love to see everyone post their reviews for their jerry cans in here, that way we can have a good basis of comparison.
Are the ECO cans "good enough" or are they in fact deficient in some way?
I haven't seen the ones from harbor freight. I should check those as harbor freight...
A while ago, Costco had the red Scepter 20L cans 2 for 24 bucks. Incredible price, and although they might not be "milspec" they seemed pretty high quality.
I like the DIY spirit. Where I live, I've never found it economical to do my own oil changes - way cheaper and less hassle to have my mechanic do it, that way I don't have to worry about what to do with the old oil and filter.
Also, I noticed your plate - thank you for your service. :)
For sure. When I get closer and further into the planning, I'll open a thread about it. Currently we have a newborn and wife is recovering from an emergency C-section, so things are a bit hectic lol.
