I'm trying to plan out a squaredrop trailer build but I keep flip flopping on how wide/ long to make it. I currently have a 4x6 trailer that I previously built to haul gear down the trails. it is 6'6" overall width and about 5'6" tall with the spare on the roof.
I am considering building either a 5x8 or 6x8 trailer to do the same type of trails with my family ( not just the dog lol). curious what everyones oppinions are about trailer size when it comes to trail use.... I have considered a 6x10 as well with the back 2' angling upward

so a few rough ideas ( I am horrible with sketchup...) ...
this was the basuc shape of the 6x10..

5x10

5x8

its all basically the same version of trailer just different dimensions. and I know it depends on where I want to take it but I am wondering if others can share their experience with larger vs smaller trailers on trails. I am going to try to get at least my oldest son into camping with it. He enjoys our current setup but I want it to be a bit easier to just roll into camp and already have a bed if I am running later than normal. I considered adding a RTT to my existing trailer but I have a lot of stuff mounted up high and I wouldn't get the dog up top.... so here I am making plans for a whole new trailer lol.
