Once i got in home i started to make some mods, including a rear rack, solar panels, new marker lights, new battery. It later went to a shop and got the leaf springs switched on top of the axle and the electric brakes hooked up. Switching the leafs brought it up 3 inches before the plastic fender was below the tire.

So after a couple trips i realized that the trailer is very top heavy for any offroad use also due to the box of my truck i cant haul a atv so i decided to build a new frame and weld the existing trailer frame to that. I also got wheel spacers to act as adapters so i can run the same tires as my truck.

Thanks, me and my wife are planning on going to Newfoundland this summer, unfortunately not with the trailer this time just the truck due to ferry cost. We will certainly be taking it camping around the province for sure.

Frame is currently under the trailer now, it still needs to be welded and some other thing done but its taking shape.

I've been thinking of building something similar too tow behind my Ram I'm digging your design glad to see I'm not the only one in a fullsized Ram build

That is a sweet build you have going there. Nice, big tubes. That trailer looks to be in great shape for it's age. Can't wait to see the end product.
Yea agreed with the hunting comment. Also like the new frame. Can you do a build list for that, like dimensions and such?

Great combo! Jealous since I sold the other company trailer that makes same design!Didn't have your vision. It seems is funny that we tripped to Nova Scotia ,pei with it!!!!Good trip to you!!

ya there are very few full size rams being built, i love seeing what other people do to them.
It's funny I always used to down dodges until I bought my second gen and I couldn't be happier lol
