You are! You can see your banners in your profile (on web) and you have access to the Member and Supporter forums. Special deals, first acces to events, products etc.!

When/how do newbies get the colorful bars under their names?

Those are for "Members", meaning they have purchased a metal emblem (available in our store) and received a number!

My confirmation email said 3039 when I opened my account, but the shipping notification for my emblem said 1690. I guess we'll see when it shows up, though Canada Post is set to go on strike this week, so that may be a while
