New member here. Moved to Rio Rancho about 2.5 years ago from the Southeast. My wife, 5 yr daughter, and I love it out here in the wild west. There is so much to explore! I drive a 05 F150 4x4 that I have had for about a decade now.

New(ish) member here. I drive a 2017 F150 XLT FX4. I don't know if I count as a real overlander vs. a camper (I did do the White Rim Trail a couple of months ago). I live in Socorro (I work for the organization that operates the VLA radio telescope).

Welcome Brain - I don't think there is a certification test to be called an "Overlander." You've done it, so now you are one! Maybe you can join us on a trip in the future. We just completed a 4-day jaunt to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Cool trip. Also very cool to be working at the VLA. Say Hi to the aliens! Take care and be safe.

Finally lifted my truck. I’m loving how it looks and rides. Now I just need to hit the trails. I’ll be camping at Goose Lake in 2 months but definitely want to make it up for at least the day before then.

Santa Fe NF opened back up today and Carson NF to open tomorrow! Stage 2 fire restrictions still in effect but over the next few weeks I’d expect those to be rescinded too. [emoji106]
