I have heard of the asking for both snow tires and chains, but I have never encountered that up at BigBear
 
For anyone trying to get chains try Oreily’s, they seem to have the best selection and pricing

You won't need chains. Your tires and 4WD is enough.

Dang, wish I could go with you guys!! I'm not free until next weekend. I have to adult this weekend. I hope you all have a blast!! Anyone down for next weekend in Big Bear? Pic is from last time I was in bear last month.

You are very welcome, it was a great day inspite of the lack of snow on the lower trails, and the trees blocking our travel into Fawnskin.

Remember going across the Mojave River and my commenting on the fact that there was water running in it? Well look at the water running today, look at this video:


Good thing we got past it when we did.

Just noticed the date. This happened Thursday, not today. So we crossed over after this.
