Hi Young Satchel- new to the forum, but I saw you post your XC70 build a while ago and was smitten enough to get my own '04. I'm planning to build the suspension bits up just like you did, and I had one question: what are the washer dimensions you had the machine shop make for the ABS fault light problem?

Again, sweet build, man.

Hey, I saw your question up here and I have done the same build. I’ll be posting more about the overall build soon, but I used 1 inch flat washers. I believe two per side is what we settled with. We opened up the inner diameter slightly. The XC90 axles have been working perfectly with these installed for about 4,000 miles now! IMG_0364.jpg

Hey satchel and co, I've been looking to do an overland build on my 2002 v70xc. I have most of my parts and phases planned out but before pulling the trigger I was wondering what sort of problems people are running into after the fact. I plan on doing 4-5 inches (badswede springs + ccp shock spacers + subframe spacers) of lift on xc90 axles

Hey Fellas,

I've been rocking my Satchel build (2006 XC70) for months now. I do not have the XC90 axles, so am I doomed? I've been getting a lot of nice comments and it's a fairly unique vehicle in my city.

I have played in a few mud holes with my 04. Has bad swede kit, 1/2 subframe spacers, performance exhaust, 1" wheel spacers, IPD strut mounts and skid plate, xc90 front axles and I'm sure other things I have forgot.

We are building a project with our Land Rover, a true world first. Because of the delays due to Covid-19, we went out and bought one of these and a roof tent to tide us over for the next few months until our project is ready. The comfort of the XC70 compared to our Land Rover, it's insanely effortless.
