Scouts Jamboree On The Air will take place on the weekend of October 16 -18, 2026. It is an opportunity for scouts of all ages to communicate with others all over the world using Amateur (HAM) radio and to encourage an interest in it.
Given a shared interest in the outdoors, I'm sure there are members or their children involved in scouting. Let me know if you are involved.
I will be operating a base in Austin's Ferry, a northern suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. We will be operating on HF and 2m Bands (for local comms) as well as on EchoLink, from 23:00 UTC, 16:00 US Pacific time on October 16, through to 04:00 UTC, 21:00 US Pacific time on October 18.
