Arizona Overlanders

Hi ! New to this forum. Looking for some folks to overland and camp around SW. I`m currently in the Casa Grande area south of Phoenix. I spent 25 years in Page/Lake Powell area. Most of my off road camping has been from Flagstaff north to Utah. Looking forward to meeting. Kevin

I'm fairly new to the forum, I live in the White Mountains and I try to get out as much as time allows. I have a 1998 Tacoma and I recently started working on a camping trailer.

From this weeks camping trip.

Welcome! You have a nice looking setup. I have a buddy down here in Tucson that used a similar trailer for his off-road trailer platform. It turned out really well and highly functional. Let me know if you start a build thread about it, I'd love to follow along!

The Tucson contingent is growing! I'm gonna set up a rigs and coffee meetup down here once the temps cool back down a bit

We are good numbers here in the Western part of AZ (BHC, Kingman, Havasu), maybe we can get one started as well when it cools and if both groups get bored we can cross meet and do trails......

Is there an Az rigs and coffee type gathering? Seems to be quite popular in other areas. Would anyone be interested in this sort of event if it also meant hitting a trail afterwards?

This Saturday is the Crawlers & Coffee hosted at the Tempe Desert Rat. I would certainly be down for an OB meetup there

https://www.facebook.com/coffeeandcrawlers/

Williams AZ (south from Williams) August 23-26,:

Heading to:
WHITE HORSE LAKE Campground South of Williams.

Plan to drive the trails and explore daily.

All are welcome to join me either whole trip or partial or for few hours!

By the way, all fire restrictions have been removed!

Jim

I'd be in for this. Some of you I've met through various AZ 4x4 groups, so subscribing for updates, but definitely looking forward to meeting the rest of you! -Kevin

I live in Prescott and would certainly be interested in an AZ or SW wide meet and greet.

Wow, that is quite the setup you have there. Very nice... Not to change the subject but what snorkel did you install and was it difficult to do ?

Who has ventured out to the black river, out by big lake and Alpine? Looking for camp spot recommendations[emoji106]
