Lets See Your Pop-Top Rigs!

Bump! There has to be more. Has anyone used a tenue cover on a truck bed, made a pop up out of it with side and end curtains as a tent, a sleeping platform in the bed, then pulled a small trailer for stuff? Well, that's one thought.......
I had a hard tonneau on my Tacoma and made a cover with a 12’ft Soloman tarp we used and strategic bungies to hold it over the tonneau and around the tailgate when down to give me a roughly 7’ bedspace. Pretty easy. Not the best “tent” for sealing things up, but could shed rain and largely keep out bugs. Didn’t have a platform or anything inside, just a blow up pad. Didn’t use much — went for a larger rig and camper shortly after. No pics of that, but this might give you the idea of the concept (that’s not the tarp, just an awning, but you can imagine how a tarp could be draped over the back of the tonneau while its up and attached to the wheelwells and draped down and around the tailgate)

I’ve been seriously considering one of these and I’m wondering if there’s anyone here as one and if so, what feedback would you have?

What is the make/model? Grainy picture but can’t make out the emblems?

A low energy build here except for the wiring. I've posted in other threads here so I apologize for repeat pics. Basically a stock 2018 Colorado Z71 diesel. (7$ a gallon right now :disappointed:) I put on stock size BFG mud tires and other than the highway noise that pretty well transformed the rig for slick mud. I got a Lone Peak Camper mostly because it was the closest to me in Wenatchee, Wa, but it has turned out to be very high quality and easy to use rig, I tried a mock up build for seated cooking and lounging inside the bed but nothing I could do made it comfortable for me. (6'6" bed) Plenty of headroom with the bed folded up but I could never adapt to living in a car or other place where there is only one place to sit so I focused on tent glamping. I have plenty of tarps and lots of places to tie off but so far my favorite accessory was the Kelty Sideroads canopy. 1/10th the cost of a 270 awning and plenty of room for a solo geezer. I got an induction cooker so I could cook inside the North Face 4p tent.

Solar motion detector light hanging off the tire lug.

On the right side is an ice chest cooler and another for all the kitchen stuff. One gallon collapsible jugs for water. Bin next to cab for tents tarps etc. The Decked drawer system makes it so that I can carry enough tools , chairs, charcoal bbq and fire pits to be silly.

Looks like I'm going to have good weather for the diesel heater, no pics yet, but so far I have not exceeded the capacity of my electric mattress cover and electric blanket.

Removed the rear seat and have battery isolator, dc-dc converter, switch box, IC-7100 ham radio, Midland GMRS, and Midland CB, LiFePO, battery. Vevor diesel heater behing the passenger seat. For winter cooking I'll take along a Jackery for the induction cooker.

I can have a different tarp setup for whatever the campsite requires.

So far, happier than a pig in poop.
