I had a hard tonneau on my Tacoma and made a cover with a 12’ft Soloman tarp we used and strategic bungies to hold it over the tonneau and around the tailgate when down to give me a roughly 7’ bedspace. Pretty easy. Not the best “tent” for sealing things up, but could shed rain and largely keep out bugs. Didn’t have a platform or anything inside, just a blow up pad. Didn’t use much — went for a larger rig and camper shortly after. No pics of that, but this might give you the idea of the concept (that’s not the tarp, just an awning, but you can imagine how a tarp could be draped over the back of the tonneau while its up and attached to the wheelwells and draped down and around the tailgate)Bump! There has to be more. Has anyone used a tenue cover on a truck bed, made a pop up out of it with side and end curtains as a tent, a sleeping platform in the bed, then pulled a small trailer for stuff? Well, that's one thought.......
