I ran the Duratracs on my H3 and Liberty and loved them. They worked great for snow, mud, sand and rock. They are somewhat loud on road though. I put over 55k on a set with no wear issues. I will say however that if you don't maintain proper alignment they wear extremely fast. If you use your...
My fiancée and I were able to take some time off from work and school in May so we can visit my family in Indiana. We will be taking our new 4Runner and our two dogs along on the trip. Depending on weather, traffic, etc... we plan to take Interstate 90 East to Sioux Falls, SD. Then either...
I loved snow and sand in the H3! It would float across the top without issue of sinking in. I haven't been able to take the new rig out to see how it performs in rough terrain yet, but I'm pretty optimistic it will perform well! [emoji12]

Update! Yesterday a package arrived!
The Baja Rack showed up just before I left for school so I didn't have time to install it. I will be putting it on today so pics will be up soon!
As to not clutter up my previous build thread for the now departed H3, I have created a new thread to document the building of our 4Runner.
The beginning:
Two weeks ago, I began to notice that the H3 started to detoriate and started to become unreliable due to its age and the move from Delaware...
Well, last week I traded in the H3 for a 2017 4Runner TRD Offroad. The H3 started to show its age and maintenance and parts were becoming more expensive and frequent. It is a sad feeling to let the Hummer go because of the memories I made with it, but as the cliched saying goes "it's time to...
The H3 started to become a "beast of burden" due to the mileage it saw and the cost of maintenance and parts becoming more expensive each year. I chose the 2017 4Runner TRD because of their insane reliability and offroad performance. We wanted something that would be comfortable traveling across...
Last thing I bought was our 2017 4Runner TRD offroad lol. Next thing I'm buying today is the BajaRack (long), C4 fabrication sliders and the NoxLux emblem blackout kit.
Officially traded in the H3 for our 2017 4Runner TRD offroad today since it arrived at the dealership.
Already ordered the emblem blackout kit, full length Baja Rack and a few interior covers for the dogs to protect the seats. I'll also be starting a new build thread in a few days. I also...
On the H3 I had a Garvin Wilderness rack that I would mount my hi-lift, shovel/axe, and some recovery gear. I also would throw my kayak or surfboard up there when I'd hit the beach. Not sure what rack I'll get for the 4Runner yet.
Well... I went and started the paperwork to trade in the H3 for a brand new 2017 4Runner TRD offroad edition which arrives in a week. Excited to move on to a new and more reliable vehicle, but I'm sure going to miss the adventures and even the struggles with the Hummer.
