ipad navigation / overlanding apps for canadians?

I was looking at gaia, looks good. The only now, is that my ELM 327 adapter does not work with my ipad. It does however work with my old 60 dollar android tablet. I may go that route instead now. I don't want to because of how fast my ipad is compared to it, but I really want vehicle...

Project Msfitoy 3.0, Ford 2019 Ranger build

Dandy rig. I am a ford guy for trucks for sure. I have owned dozens upon dozens of them. One thing, I think I would get flush mount reverse lights. If you do any off roading, those will be crushed on your first ditch/washout crossing.

    GMC Build 1.0

I love colorado builds. I would sell the rockstars and get some nicer set of wheels. But thats' me. I am NOT a fan of those. I do love the 1st gen colorado though. There is a nice teal blue example in town here, it's an awesome rig. Good luck with the rest of the build! and USE IT!!!!

    When is enough really enough?

5000 is a damn good down payment on a new rig bud. I think I would move on. There are lots of reliable vehicles out there.

New Jeep Day! Annie is here!

Thanks for the recommendation. I am building Annie pretty well the same as my last JK U. I am putting the 2" teraflex lift on it, falcon 3.1 adjustable shocks, JKS sway connect spring swaybar links, griffin attenuator and teraflex steering stabilizer. 285s on some sort of rim is all the...

    SVO ....Small Vehicle Overlanding

By that time I’d say there will be a lift and some sort of protection out for the new ravs. With the addition of a true trail edition these parts will be added soon to the aftermarket

New Garmin Overlander....What are your thoughts

Hello, Jeep? you partner with garmin for your nav, put this in your DASH! I would get one, but lately I am using my old tablet and it is working fine. I use my garmin dakota 10 for kayaking, hiking and mtn biking. I am thinking about putting in an android based head unit in my escape...

    SVO ....Small Vehicle Overlanding

Can any escapees help? Can you grease the carrier bearing in the middle of the rig without removing it? I have a needle injector, I was going to try to put some in the center bearing to see if the noise will dissipate. If i can even get it to change tone I will know it's that bearing...

Suggestions for my next Overland rig

Good choice. I was just going to pipe in and say the fronty pro-x is probably the best use of money on a overall vehicle today. Here anyways, they are the least expensive pickup you can buy. There is some aftermarket for it (enough). it's quite comfortable and has some off road chops from...
