    Anyone using appcar DiagFCA?

This software goes more in depth plus it works on my patriot too. But you can disable pwm on your lighting so they don’t flicker if you want to go led or hid and they get full voltage so they are brighter too. Just one of many features.

    Rig Lighting

yes, when I am driving at night I am very aware of others coming towards me. That being said, I have hit one moose because of poor lighting. I have not run a rig since without aux lighting. Even with lights I slow down. Just common sense around here

    Rig Lighting

for the most part that is what happens here. People know that moose are a killer on our roads, so everyone runs aux lighting and most everyone has them wired to their high beam trigger. It’s really a way of life here. I have been passed when I am doing 80-90 kph in the night like I was...

    Rig Lighting

I use off road lights (hella HID converted 500s and 450s) on the highway here, but it's not like a hugely populated area. In the night you will pass by probably 10 vehciles per hour. I have them hooked up to my high beams and a switch when I want to operate my high beams independantly. Here...

    Rig Lighting

Sylvania bulbs are mediocre at best. Try hella 2.0s. I have silver star ultras in the wrangler now and they are garbage. Stock cheap bulbs are better.

    Rig Lighting

Oh, another thing to consider is colour temperature. 6000k that all led are is terrible for oncoming traffic, and is less light output than lower colour temperature light sources ...Toyota led housings are fine examples of this. Rip your retinas out when they are coming towards you but no...

    Rig Lighting

Proper reflector technology and aiming come into play then. My driving lights are on only when no other traffic are on coming. They are wired into my high beam switch. Low beam is low beam and high beam is daylight

    Rig Lighting

I am working on my lighting setup as we speak. I haven’t seen a reasonably priced led light that works good, so for my wrangler, I am converting a set of ece hella housings with 35w 4300k hids for my headlights, and adding a set of hella 500 driving housings with 55w 4300hid in them. I have...

Show me a Road Sign.....really any sign...

The cow falling of the cliff reminds me of the good ole cliff diving moose here in Newfoundland. Video proof!

Best overland vehicle with 7 seats

I will answer an 05 ish body style suburban. I owned one. Mine was neglected by my father before I bought it from him. That being said, I miss the crap out of that rig. I hated it at first, but it grew on me. My ideal driveway would be my JK unlimited, a lifted 05 suburban z71 and my...

A new overland vehicle - Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro

NOT WRONG. but I guess you know everything about it. It's skid plates, fox shocks (no matter how you slice it they are better than bilstein and other factory offerings), spring rates are different, and there are drivetrain differences as well. But hey....you knew all that right? That's all...
