    Road trip through Arizona

There's a number of really cool day trips near the Benson area: 1) Fairbank, AZ - In between Benson and Tombstone there's a neat little historic ghost town called Fairbank that's just a short detour down HWY 82. There's some neat old buildings and a little schoolhouse museum/bookstore that's...

    new member in bayarea California

Welcome from Baja Arizona! We lived in the Bay Area for about a dozen years before we moved back here to AZ. There's a pretty decent guide book called "Guide To California Backroads & 4-Wheel-Drive Trails" that I recommend picking up. It has a number of routes and waypoints that cover the whole...

What is your favorite nonessential rig add-on?

Yes! That's definitely a pro move. We do something similar in the back of our jeep where I tend to do most of the cooking and food prep. Always handy to have paper towels and extra light right there Sent from my SM-G965U using OB Talk mobile app

    Taking the Mrs.

We're in the desert so our coldest mornings are usually still somewhere around 30F, nonetheless, when we're out adventuring I always get up early and have a freshly made hot cup of tea ready for her when she wakes up.

Thanks for sharing your video! I really gotta get over to Anza Borrego one of these days soon! I'm no expert by any means (we're also just getting started on YouTube), but I do have a couple more pieces of constructive feedback for you: Audio: Consider picking up an external microphone and a...

    1st Time Trail Leader

@Michael's list is spot on. I'll also add a few things I always do when I am leading a run: ROUTING Research and plan your route ahead of time. If the route has not been driven in-person for a considerable amount of time, also plan some backup routes. (Where i'm at, it's not uncommon to get...

    Arizona Overlanders

Welcome! You have a nice looking setup. I have a buddy down here in Tucson that used a similar trailer for his off-road trailer platform. It turned out really well and highly functional. Let me know if you start a build thread about it, I'd love to follow along!

Reoccurring - OB MEET & GREET /TEMPE MARKET PLACE- Arizona southwest region - 11/11/2017

Max elevation on that route is only ~2600ft, probably gonna be quite hot, even at night. I've been considering putting together a small get together in higher/cooler ground, something like the Chiricahua Mountains, but that might be too far of a drive for all you Phoenix area folks.
