Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Yeah, that's the general idea. @Michael had mentioned in another thread getting some of us early arrivals to coordinate a larger section for OB if we can. Of course there is no assigned camping spots, it's first-come-first-served so we'll have to kinda play it by ear to some extent.
@Dog Pack Yep, cool We can either add another pickup spot off of I-10 or have you and your buddies meet us at the pickup spot proposed at Anthem Outlets off of 17
I love RAM mounts, I actually just ordered some additional mounts this morning so we can mount an iPad mini to the dash. I have a JKE bar from Vector Offroad which runs across the whole top of our dash (we have a JKU) and then from that we mount all our RAM mounts. Here's an old picture of our...
I just created a Rally Point for the Arizona Convoy to Overland Expo WEST. We are lucky that we don't have as far to drive as others, but I figured if there are others heading up there we might as well try to form a convoy. Pickup spots in Tucson and Phoenix, and if there are other pick-up...
The "Notes" section is a bit buried in Rally Point, so i'll post this comment here, too:
Departure/pickup times and places are up for discussion so put in requests if you have any. We are planning on driving up Thursday morning early, but will also consider leaving Wed afternoon/evening and...
Ok, ok, I know we don't have that far to drive, but that doesn't mean we can't put together a great full-state convoy! The convoy will start in Tucson and work it's way up to Flagstaff stopping in/near Phoenix (and any other requested stops on the way) to collect members as we go.

The family and i will be heading up early as well and are happy to help set up a collective camp spot. We're coming up from southern AZ so we'll be able to get there early. Might even head up the night before and camp out somewhere else just to be ready to get in line.
Nice! Ok, You wanna meet up in Tucson on like the 19th and head out from there? We have a fully-stocked guesthouse you guys are welcome to use for that night, then we could head out to adventure on the morning of the 20th.
I'll PM you
I originally hoped to set up an El Camino run for like March 16-19 but then I ended up with a last-minute work trip where I won't return until the night of the 17th. I think we're still gonna be doing *some* sort of multi-day run during that week of the 19-25th, but nothing concrete planned. We...
Yep, we do the same for day trips, basically we bring just enough stuff that we could minimally camp out if required. We always toss in an Aqua-Tainer of water as well, which is absolutely critical for emergencies here in the desert. Our vehicle is also permanently packed with camo netting...
This looks great! I wish I could do something like this with my JKU but we're a family of 5 and need all those seats!
Did you consider putting in some trapdoors to access the rear recessed storage/subwoofer compartment, or similar trapdoors to get possibly easier access to the footwell storage...
