Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
For me it would depend on the deal, which one was loved more has the least time getting beat. Both have pluses and minuses, roll the dice or get which one pulls you. I was a fan of the 4runner until I had an electrical problem with my daughters, I was a fan of the Jeep 4.0 until I tried to get...
There are many different types of TC most are not suitable for offroad. Manufactures that design TC for off road typically market it as such. Jeep uses brakes like mentioned above (I've driven a liberty with it, worked ok). Toyota has a few different versions of ATRAC which also works similar...
Unless you are a diesel mechanic and travel with a full support crew I'd stay away. Great farm truck where you can pull it home when you do something unadvisable. Actual distance traveled is brutal but this thought is coming from someone over 40 and just don't wish to subject my body to such a...
Yeah better off returning it and getting a second 12V if possible use a try like the one above to keep them together. If not you will need battery isolator, long lengths of 00 or 000 wire depending on load 6/0 . Then you would likely want to divide your power drawl. If you do run two...
I have found that the Amazon wish list is a mixed blessing! Sure its great for Amazon but the reminder that Oh! I want, or can use that!! So what is in your wish list?
I love my ARB compressor, it has proven faster then gas station fart pumps at times. But if I intended to run air tools I think I would go with 20# CO2 I know there are a lot of debates out there between the two. I'd want to keep the compressor because when your out of CO2 you are out.
I have been to both mostly for skills building but cycle parks are not my thing. Much prefer National Forest, public land or desert exploration. Places that loops exceed 100 miles.

Yeah without seeing/measuring inside impossible to really say. 12k i would think is overkill usually 1.5X truck weight is enough. I bet my Lexus was heavier.

I had a 1997 LX450 with ARB front winch bumper with the 8.5K and I need to add some spacers in order for the winch to clear (inside housing). I would guess not without some modification.
excellent would you recommend for someone that has little autobody experience? Decent at taping but how is it to work with? did you add color? About how much did you buy to cover your whole truck? - Thanks
Anyone have experience with using these spray kits for painting your rig or parts of your rig (other then the bed)? I'd want to color it to light grey if possible. I have some experience spraying car paint but never material like this. I'd like to spray the Cab maybe the camper on the back but...
