How To: Off-Road Trail Tire Repair

Now that sounds interesting! I have read that you never drive at night in Mexico, even their visitor site warns against it due to animals, never figure they were referring to 4 legged ones.

    Rock sliders on a unibody?

Well you can give Primitive Racing a call ask about the material they use for their sliders. 1020 DOM .120" wall is about the industry standard on a truck or SUV I'd imagine you wouldn't need quite that much on a Subaru?

    Cummins Turbo Diesel Crate engine

I have also seen some requirements on age limits and only speculation on price. If its under 10K that's a hell of a deal considering what you get, used rebuild Toyota 1HZ-T can set you back that much without all the accessories and support that comes with the cummins. Really looking forward to...

    Rear bumper weight

Personally I think mediums are fine, if you added a spare, gas, water, recovery gear + roof weight also then you might be looking at a squatting truck. I used medium springs with custom bumper + tire swing + gas cans and found it very nice!

    Thoughts on the Colorado ZR2?

Or the inverse if you are running an old diesel that wants sulfur in US you can always add some conventional motor oil into the fuel or diesel fuel treatment if you want to be more environmentally friendly.

    New sway bars

I think it really depends on your use, if you are using this as a trail rig I'd remove the sway bar, if not I'd just get some urethane bushings for the stock bar. Can't recommend an aftermarket but if you do off road a lot I'd try to find one that is designed for that use or even better has...

    R12 Air Conditioning

Do you say its worth to have a shop do it for the recycling of the freon or due to the recharging of the system? I know there is some adaption needed for the freon as well.
