I just put a ratchet strap around the tire when I put on the Trasharoo, it holds it in place while I hook up the straps. Takes 5 mins tops. I don't drive around with mine on 24/7 so UV issues haven't been a problem. I live in California also, and have never had an issue with rodents getting into...
I used these:
Air Lift Bags
This was based off info from a guy off the AEV Forum, the width is perfect but they are a little tall, maybe a 1/2" extra. That said, I've had zero issues with them. I will suggest pulling your springs to install them, I tried to slip them in as the directions...
I added Air lift bags to my AEV 2.5 lift and it has made a world of difference whether the RTT is on the JK or we're towing our trailer, a few pounds of air stabilizes things quite nicely. The other advantage is when you are not loaded up, you can let the air back down to the minimum and your...
I have a lightly used Tepui 6'6" x 6'6" Awning for sale. We decided to go with a 270 awning so now this one is up for grabs. Mounting brackets, and stakes in bag included.
$200/obo - local pickup only. I'm in the South Bay, about 20 mins south of LAX.
Seen here packed up on our trailer...
I purchased the Rhinorack Batwing just before ExpoWest this year and boy did it come in handy. Set up and take down is so easy. We had it up the whole weekend through the wind and rain.
I have not tried to store it that way, although I have seen where folks store it with the annex attached but without the floor. Frankly, I'm not sure I have enough room under the cover to do either.
I keep threatening to give it a try, I'll let you know when I do!
Have you tapped on the crosshairs looking icon at the top right of screen? Tapping once will show your location, twice, it will shows direction of travel towards the top of the map.
Ha! Yeah, actually I DO want an Annex floor for many reasons.
We currently have a CVT Mt. Shasta RTT with an annex that has a zip off floor. We don't use the annex without the floor. My daughters appreciate being able to sleep in the annex without having critters crawling across them, as does...
I have not tried to air-flush mine but it's an interesting idea. I keep it full with water from the tap most of the time and have yet to have any issues. I purchased a second outlet so in theory if I were to open the outlet at the opposite end from the air valve while adding air pressure, I...
This is great to know, as I was completely serious about combining the two. I have the Roadshower4 7 gal version which can pressurized to as high as 65 psi. I love it and it works for us in about 75% of situations for having a pressurized warm water option. Recently though, we've found...
Did you even read this thread? Please show me where I said I'm going to "gravity feed" the tankless WH. Geez man....
I'm not offended but I agree with Ryan, you do come across with a negative attitude. It is possible to share your experiences without being critical of other people's choices...
It's all of these improvements that has me back to considering the iKamper again. This addresses most of my issues with the original version and the new 1 bolt mounting bracket is super slick. My RTT goes back and forth between our trailer and the Jeep and those brackets would negate the need...
