Storing gas? I’m not sure why at these prices! Ok, here is a critical point for storing gas on your vehicle: Fuel stabilizer.

You need to add fuel stabilizer to any gas that you plan to store for an extended period of time. On a trip where you are planning to use the fuel in a week or two, you are fine, but I always keep one of my Jerry Cans full so I can help stranded commuters who have run out of gas and sometimes I will go a month or more before using it. Gas starts to go bad fairly quickly.

If you are storing gas for over a month, it is a good idea to add stabilizer. This will allow you to store your fuel for a year or more.

You can pick up gas stabilizer at your local autoshop or order here!
