Did my trailer these days. New "roof" rack and a new drawbar ( I bend that one in the UK)

Dual battery project is pretty much done. Still need to get a better battery tie down for the aux battery, the OEM one is not a great fit.

The LR4 starts SOOO much easier now. I think the stock battery is crap. The new starter battery is a larger size and a good AGM. The aux battery is an Odyssey AGM, and is high quality. Together, I should be able to run a lot of gear and fridge for days and never have to worry about the starter battery due to the isolators.

The factory water proofing/covers still fit, but this is just a picture with those removed. The battery boxes are sealed up pretty good from water.

The kit I got was Traxide D3-BS which is the SC80-LR isolator for protecting the cranking battery and the ABG-25 isolator, a low voltage cut-out, for protecting the auxiliary battery from being accidentally over discharged.

It supports some nice features. It is not a DC to DC charger. Both batteries can be used for accessories until the cranking batt is isolated (At 12v, 50% left, plenty for starting the vehicle). Both batteries charge in parallel via the alternator. The Aux battery can even charge the starter batt via reverse charging. It also supports solar very well.

I just noticed there's another, older, "what did you do to your rig today?" thread. Please forgive my absent mindedness.
 
Finally got around to installing my sPod and the Rigid D2 Duallys I had from my old build. Mounted them on the a-pillar this time around. The sPod instructions aren't great which made it irritating to install. It's tough to see in the pictures but the switches light up red.















 
Connected the brake lines to the rear brakes, flushed, and bled the rear brake system.
Connected the rear eLocker.
Did a little TIG welding to stay current. I still need to do the cover passes on the new rear cross member (to frame rails) for the new rear shocks that can keep up with the articulation.

Installed tie down loops in the overhead of my cargo area so I can 6 point mount my Rainfler cargo/pet divider, removed the stock cd changer to make a first aid kit storage spot, mounted my axe and machete, removed the stock spare for under the cargo area and filled the space with all kinds of gear. I'm going to start a build thread soon, there are 5 tires and a lift kit in my garage that are going on this weekend.
 
I'm going to jump start it, and drive it to work.

I might have left the radios on the other day...

I'm starting this today. 3" Body Lift from Performance Accessories. The wife and little one have a hard time getting up in the truck without running boards so I've decided to put them back on. The problem is, if I put them on without the BL, I'll lose ground clearance. If I add the BL it will raise the body high enough so the running boards won't impede ground clearance.

Now they'll be able to just step up onto the step instead of having to step into the truck and do a one legged twisting, jumping & pulling motion to get in.

I cut and removed the hinge pins for my rear seat cushions and replaced them with quick release pins. Now I can remove the seat cushions when I fold the rear seats flat. Gives me just enough extra length to make sleeping in the back possible. I'm 6'1" so it's a bit tight in the back of a mid sized suv. Every bit helps. Tomorrow I'm doing a lift, tires and a roof rack. Really stoked about it!

It was on my WJ, the xterra as you know has those sweet little handles to remove the seat cushions. I just copied the idea with Home Depot hardware for my grand cherokee

Yes they do. The pic vs the signature rig causes me a confusion.
