I can say, after 2 years, the red NiteShades paint is completely faded and gone. So this would only be a temporary solution, not a permanent fix for faded taillights.

I moved from west Texas to Thibodaux and I swear the sun here is way worse than out there and the humidity rusts and rots whatever the sun hasn't destroyed...brutal environment down here

recently used a 3M kit to restore my headlights...looked great when finished, but lasted less than a month

Well, I was going to save this for later, but I just bought a 2017 Kia Sorento.... It's going to get the OB treatment, I think!
