What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Poly and uniballs require ongoing maintenance though.
Out of curiosity were you preloading your bushings prior to tightening them up? Definitely helps with the life of the bushings especially when overall travel has increased.

These items are much easier to replace than the OEM components. Here in socal the uniballs shouldn't wear too quickly compared to states with lots of salt. They were greased before everything was fully tightened down.

Out with the old Voyager Sliders (they are good, but rust and dont protect the air compressor or tank, they don't go inward all the way past the frame rails).... and in with the new "Tactical 4x4" LR4 Sliders! (I also continue my quest to clone the @finlayforprez and @gulfstreamchris LR4 rigs.)

They are white because I had them coated by zincnation.com which is some type of aluminized spray metal coating. I will get them powder coated satin black.

Hey Mike! Keep us posted how it goes and let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!!!!

Got me some Weather techs for $30. Used of course.

So I finally got the bumper mounted yesterday. Didn't take enough pics, but I did run an air hose into the driver side "step". Haven't had a chance connect it all up, but it's installed and feels incredibly solid. Unfortunately I did have to remove the GOBI ladder to clear room for the swing out. Oh well.

Now I just need to figure out how to get my exhaust tucked up higher- it looks so weird hanging that low now. Any suggestions?

Looks great dude! How long did it take to get your bumper in?

Ohh and you could snag some of those steps that front runner makes that go on your spare tire. They are pretty nifty for getting up on the roof easier with your gobi gone.

Did you sell it? I'd be interested.

New Hood Compass graphic 6-6-2017

Well not me, but a local shop.
I decided to leave the big graphics to the pros.
I can do a small diecut, but after two weekends ago fiasco putting one on, I decided to have a pro shop make me one.

This is much better quality than the one from amazon, plus it is 24"x24", not 22"x22" like the amazon one.
They could have made it bigger, but 24": worked out great.

More details and pics in my buildup thread below.

Thank god you added extra lights, your headlights are going to be degraded a bit from the expanded metal, but looks nice.... nice and mean!
