Today I washed the Jeep and bought her some new plugs, a rear wiper blade, and some brake fluid. Still on the list are ball joints, u-joints, new wheels and tires, and a way to fit 35s.

Have you decided how you will mount it? I went with the opening to the drivers side because my rear door opens to the drivers side and I eventually want a batwing awning and would like max coverage with the rear door open.

Traveler II
Changed oil & filter on the XJ, got the power door lock working and replaced the hood release cable. Not a bad morning.
Took care of much needed maintenance. Replaced differential fluid and painted new diff cover. Replaced front driveshaft CV joint, replaced rear rotors and pads.

Picked up some surplus 81mm mortar ammo cans to store my gear. This is the before picture with all my gear up on top of them. Project will be to clean them up, give them a new paint job and add carpet inside them to dappen the sound. I picked them up at Omaha’s surplus in Ft Worth TX.

Mounted up the RTT for spring camping, snow is finally melting. Next up wash the rig!

I got her stuck, again, trying to recover the recovery boards I left on the trail last time I got stuck. I was only 1 mile away from where I got stuck last month. And no I didn't hike to look for the other boards. I was too concerned with getting back out before it got dark. I'd be really mad if I spent $300 on Maxtrax. lol
I stash a lot of snacks in my rig for times just like this!

Survival food
Experimented fitting into the garage with the tent still attached, I found if I take the lower portion of the Smittybilt ladder off it clears with a couple mm to spare 
Finished installing my Spod and ARB compressor.
