Post Up Your Cockpit

Simple, iPad on RAM mount. Real nice thing is for a Tundra is the Switch Pro setup from SDHQ! Eight switches in the business card space on a Tundra console. Super clean install. Nice iPhone/iPad app to configure and change LED color.
Running Baja Designs squadron Pro amber in foglights and white on a pillars. RLT-S in back.

Love Ram Mount! Except for the shipping cost and time. Product is the best though.

That SwitchPro took up so little space. Nice.

I had very little space to mount anything in a Chevy suburban. Just not suited to attach things. I replaced the center console and used Ram Mount for all. I have three Ram Mount stalks that hold radios, phones, pads. Look further back in this thread for pics.

I built a console for my Tahoe with space in mind.

Simplicity for me. I enjoy a full functioning driver experience but I need a simple, uncluttered cockpit.

These are my cockpit mods:
  • HID bumper light switch
  • Kenwood 71A ham radio
    • RAM mount for remote head
  • PL259 connection for handheld CB radio
  • Compass/Dimming Mirror
  • Android Headunit
    • Torque Pro
    • Google Maps
    • APRS Droid
    • Backcountry Navigator Pro
  • Mobilinked Bluetooth TNC
  • Blue Seas High-speed USB charge ports
  • Homelink Garage door opener
  • RAM mount for other accessory
  • Dual Battery control (automatic, off, self jump start)
  • Digital starting battery voltmeter
  • Digital house battery voltmeter

Did you do the Blue Seas ACM battery switch for the dual? I noticed the self jump start.

It is just a ON-OFF-ON switch with a fancy picture on the switch. But yes, it is Blue Seas.

You can check out what I did in more detail here:

I like your center console reuse for the voltmeters and switches. I ended up replacing my console in the Suburban since it was pretty useless anyway and located everything there.
I used the Blue Seas ML-ACM battery control in which that $20 switch is part of. I like the charge management of the Blue Seas system and low curren. ML-ACR Automatic Charging Relay with Manual Control - 12V DC 500A - Blue Sea Systems
Your approach was certainly cheaper!

Can't believe no one has posted something similar yet. :grinning: The office.

I was thinking the same thing, here's the inside and a couple of views from the cockpit.

Now here's the view in my Willys, it's not quite as good as the F-16. I realize the Willys isn't as cool or fancy as the newer vehicles but I built the whole thing and it works just fine for me.
