OTG Barter Blanket? Here's how it works...
Everyone brings their Overland related items, that they no longer need, to the OTG Rally. At some point, during the weekend, everyone circles around a "blanket" (it can be a picnic table, or anything). Someone goes first by placing one of their items on the blanket. Anyone who wants it can offer up one of their items in trade. The person who owns the item on the blanket gets to pick which trade offer they would like to except (or they can pass altogether and keep their item). It's really fun, and you might even pick up something you actually need :-) If enough people like this idea, maybe we can get someone on the staff to make sure everyone knows about it. It could be awesome!!!

I saw them too, but the restrictions are constantly increasing. You're probably right. It's fun footage to have. I think I'll bring it.

I think I'm going to depart Sunday from Astoria Oregon(ish) to take a very slow trip down via 101 to... somewhere and cut east before the bay area. I'm hoping to pull in to camp on Thursday morning (I have a stop to make Wednesday night).
If anyone wants to link up, or knows of any good spots that I should stop at/camp along the way, I'm very interested!

I was planning on going Sunday or Monday, hooking up with Neil in Bend on that Monday, then head to crater lake, then south to meet up with a couple othe OTG goers, arriving on Thursday.

Do you know what route your taking? I could forego the coastal route and go via the mountains if there's a group.
My plan was to be in Clovis Wednesday by late afternoo. I'm not sure if that would work with the convoy's travel plans or not.

Are plans are now... I leave from Olymia WA (via I5 and Hwy 20) and meet Neil in Bend OR ( who will come south on 97) on Monday Afternoon. The Tues morning take a short drive to Crater Lake via Hwy 97. Then on Wedesday head south and breifly split up to pick-up passengers etc, then Thursday head for camp.

Unfortunately, I don't think that Crater Lake to Clovis in a day is in the cards for me and my rig. I'll think I'll probably just stick to my original schedule and try and be in California on Tuesday night.
