I had some friends visit GWNF and they said some locals trashed the bottom. Thinking of setting up a clean up day.

With the encroaching holidays my Saturdays are booked but I would be down.

Still looking for options on the 16th.

As far as suggestions, they have been thrown out crosses discussed against multiple threads IMO. Best one can do for solid advice is do some independent research on somewhere you want to go and anyone with info will share or advise.

The more the merrier for clean up details. But yeah my Saturday’s are packed as well. Maybe Sunday for me.

Oh yea, been doing some looking around and looking at Gaia. Meant it in the aspect that we still had no plans for the 16th so trail clean up day could happen then.

They are all doable, just about how far everyone wants to drive. I am down for GWNF again. Looking at some of the National Parks that are close by, alot of them have closed areas, hunting notices, or need some sort of prior coordination.

I dont know how far GWNF is from you but thats looking like the plan. Maybe run some trails and then hit up one of the breweries/beer joints in Harrisonburg? I am waiting for some people to get a title for a car I have been looking at picking up. If they get it next week I may be out of the loop on this.

DRT is the Dirt Road Trip overland blog site started by Ben & Alex. They also admin the FB group Mid Atlantic Overland Society. They do a meet & greet the 2nd Thursday every month @ Kilroys in Braddock/Springfield. Great group of people.
