My cheap jeep project for winter/spring. 93 V8 w a bum TC. Got a 231 to swap in, new shocks, used 265 75 16 tires, new 16x8 wheels. Need to buy some spacers to lift it and get the TC input swapped over plus pick up a new battery. Hoping to be under $750 in the whole thing.

Drove it home:

Little paint and clean-up. Some free wheel spacers.

The clear was half peeled. I actually almost painted them gold, but a few beers later I figured to just use what is on-hand and made em black.

I love my Jeeps!

Here are the two that live in my garage (when it's not full of Jeep project parts...)

My 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk. It's been a great little trail runner, light camping / exploration, and Search and Rescue rig.

'14 KL Trailhawk (Active Drive II) w/3.2 Pentastar

Then there is the Commander. The more I work on this, the more I love it. It may get it's first trip out to the world next week if everything goes well!

'06 XK Limited (Quadra Drive II) w/5.7 HEMI
What lift and tire size?
The combo looks great. I'm going to look at an 06 limited hemi this weekend.

It was the RRO kit without springs + the leveling kit. So it's 2.25 in the rear and close to 2.75 in the front i think.

The tires are 265/70/17 BFG AT/KO2. I adore these tires.

If you're going to look at a WK/XK, I can't recommend the QD-II enough. It's worth the additional time searching for. That is, unless you're planning on adding your own lockers.

Thanks and Good luck!
