Made it up to Tuktoyaktuk in 2019. Left Vancouver, WA July 21 and was gone for 3 weeks. It was a great trip. I hope to get back up there with my son and his family as soon as this lockdown is over.
Have a great time and leave yourself time to stop and enjoy some of the other sights along the way.

Did this in July of 2018. I am wanted to go back up, but it will be a year or two. We where stuck in Eagle Plains for a night because the road had washed out. Got a chance to talk with some truckers, they said the time to come up was winter

It really depends. Winter can have its moments too. Nice pics, and see that you did the toe dipping :)
Can't wait to head up there again in July.

EXACTLY !!!!!!

Lived there for 10 years, endless daylight was cool the first summer but winter nights were with the aurora were incredible. Even if the sun does not rise it is never dark.

Plus in the winter you get to see the best athletes in the world run...... nothing better than a dog race. THIS IS NORTHERN CULTURE.
