Don't know why you would have had problems on hwy 180. I've never seen it closed or blocked in the 22 years I've been here. Its a major highway.

Sorry for the confusion. It was not HWY 180, it was Forest Road 180 just West of Snow Lake.

Oh yeas, than can close pretty fast in the winter. Beautiful route, i cant wait to travel. :-)

I was there in March 2018 and there was no snow. It was way to warm for that.
