This seems to be a reoccurring issue that is spreading across the country. A lot of the high school kids out here have found out the forest service rarely patrols the trails and they can do anything. It's sad that I have to avoid the first 20 minutes of trails in the black hills because they are...
Hello everyone! I was born and raised in Indiana for the first 18 years before I joined the USCG and stationed in DE. My family lives in Fishers and Carmel so I visit home a couple times a year. I drive a H3 that I outfitted for offroad traveling (posted a build thread about it). I'm trying to...
I carry a sidearm with me when we go out in the black hills, the mountain lions here have become very daring and have begun to not back down from bigger threats.
The towns along the coast were flooded so I had to travel through them to get to my unit.
This is a current picture of my rig. It has been awhile since I have added any new modifications but plan on doing suspension upgrades and getting an ARB bumper with a winch and new tires. Dashboard hula...
I purchased my H3 in 2010 because my jeep decided it wanted to be a submarine. It was good timing because I was on medical leave for a shoulder surgery. My family drove me from Delaware to our home in Indiana to recoup from my surgery. While on leave in Indiana, I bought the H3 because I wanted...
I have a few stickers on my rig. Couple of surfing ones, USCG, and 4x4 recovery vehicle.
On the front I have my clubhummeroffroad sticker which I need to replace since it faded.

Overlanding is awesome, and who better to go on an adventure than your four legged friend! Including pets on trips can make your experience more entertaining and your pet will be thoroughly happy. Bringing along a furry companion will require a some modifications to your list of items to bring...
hello, I noticed you have the flat black section on your hood to prevent glare from your overhead lights. Did it create an increase in hood/engine bay temperatures? I have heard other people that have done similar mods have significant increases in temperature on the flat black sections. I am...
I use dryer lint soaked in Vasoline and then stuffed into a toilet paper roll then store them in ziploc bags. 3 rolls will fit into a sandwich size bag. Any small spark or flame sets them ablaze.
I was in the military and decided to get out and use the gi bill. My fiancé is from Rapid which is why we moved out here from Bethany Beach, DE. The businesses here are all locally owned and friendly which is similar to coastal Delaware, except there is a significant change in scenery! Lol.
