Nice Commander! I always liked the looks of them because they were different than the other jeeps. Looks good without the chrome on it!

We encountered a mountain lion this winter when hiking. We noticed the fresh tracks in the snow and decided to turn around. Apparently it turned around as well and circled through the woods in front of us. Luckily our German Shepherds scared it off.

What is your all time favorite piece of camping gear and why? Mine is an ancient Revere Ware Copper Clad coffee pot. It's perfect for sitting right next to the fire in the morning and makes a pretty mean cup of joe!

I have this rack on my H3 and have the same rust issue. Wish I would have put some black sealant around the caps to prevent rust, but to late...

I use these lines for my dogs. I attach one end to my recovery point and the other on a tree. Use carabiners to connect their leash to the line. This gives them 100 feet to run and explore so I don't always have to keep an eye on them. Takes a quick glance down the line and you know what your...
Keep a spare set of keys hidden somewhere on your rig. I use a locking carabiner because the magnetic key holders can fall off on bumpy roads or water crossings.
I've had my hi-lift for 6 years and only used it once. My friend got a log wedged under their axle and wouldn't free itself. I recommend the wheel adapter kit but check the straps before each use to make sure they are not frayed/damaged. Hi-lifts are gnarly mechanisms and should definitely be...
I don't think I'm related to them. I do have some extended family that lives around that area. I won't be able to make it out to the June run because of summer classes but I'll let my dad know. I'll try and get him on the forum and apart of the group!
