I had one catch fire while driving. I got stopped, and got my own out plus the a guy at a gas station and a nearby truck driver. A total of 25 pounds and no joy until a fire truck got there. The hood release had burnt through by the time I got stopped.

I can see the later ones, they’re built on the gmt900 chassis. Good to know on the price ranges. After 2009, I understand the transmission got even better. Did you get a newer version when you replaced yours, or rebuild the original?

A rattle can will take care of that in a couple of coats. I did it for my teardrop because black looks so much better.
