personally, I would not do a rust bucket at all, unless you’re willing to spend lots of cash on remedial treatment. as far as size goes, my full size Tahoe is in the center of this lineup of Tacomas and one Xterra. I’ve not encountered anything that limits my ability.

Yes 2wd. It’s a police model, so 2-3 inch drop depending where you read.

My Uncle was Navy in the early 60s. He finished his career as a GS accountant for the Army at Ft Hauchuca. He still lives there.
