Using Overlanding To Help Veterans

This is one of the cool things among vets - often a short conversation or a few exchanges on a message board will turn up a link of some sort, even if they were in different branches. I was at Gordon in early 69 for AIT then on to 11th Signal and STRATCOM in southern AZ. Great duty in those days. especially for a draftee.

My Uncle was Navy in the early 60s. He finished his career as a GS accountant for the Army at Ft Hauchuca. He still lives there.

@viacharity Billy, I just saw the eposide where the Discovery took a glide down the mountain. Holy crap, that could have been horrific. I enjoyed watching the team recover and hoist a pint with the locals.
